Use a clear, front-facing photo

  • Shoot straight on. Keep the camera level and facing the glass. Show the full glass area and its edges; avoid steep angles.
  • Clear the view. No people, furniture, plants or other objects in front of the glass. Keep the glass clean.
  • Never shoot into the light. Use even lighting from your side of the glass. Avoid backlighting, direct sun, flash and strong glare.
  • Use a sharp original photo. Avoid blur, dark areas, filters and screenshots. Do not crop out the glass edges.

Photo quality limits the result. If these conditions are not met, the app may be unable to create a simulation, or the result may be low quality and look unrealistic. Even a suitable photo does not guarantee an accurate result.
